I Don't Like Myself Anymore

Nothing's for free
everyone thinks I'm a mess
but I got good things coming my way
my report card that'll show em
that I don't like myself anymore
and I hate filling out forms
with pencils with lives so short
because we scratch all night
at the insides of our lives
gosh I feel so down
just like the way you felt when
I locked you out and you thought
I didn't like you anymore
but it's me who I don't like
because it's all about the way
you walk when you gotta walk
somewhere in those shoes,
do you know who made them?
if you know that's another story
shit I can't finish this poem
it's supposed to be bad and
I just want to cross that threshold
into a place where things can be cool
without the pressure to be dead
